Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Tnexy helps job seekers with career advice, assessments and mock interviews, and helps employers manage applicants. This page explains in plain language what we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our login provider) and whether you are a job seeker or an employer.
- Job seeker profile: phone, city, years of experience, education, current CTC, headline and skills, as you enter or confirm them.
- Your CV file, if you upload one.
- Career assessment answers and results.
- Applications you make, and your messages to employers.
- Private messages you send to your connections. Only the two people in a conversation can read it.
- Employer details: company name, website, description, and the jobs and notes you create.
- A daily count of AI advisor messages, to apply the free daily limit.
How we use it
- To run your account, show you jobs, and let you apply and track applications.
- To give you personalised career advice and mock interviews.
- To let employers review the people who apply to them.
- To send account emails such as email confirmation and password resets.
- To keep the service safe and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising.
Who can see your information
- Employers can see your profile, CV and career assessment only for jobs you have applied to with that employer. They cannot browse all job seekers.
- Your CV is stored in a private storage area. It is not public and has no public link.
- Employer notes and ratings about you are private to the employer and are not shown to you.
- The Tnexy administrator can access the data needed to verify employers and run the service.
Your public page
When a job seeker completes their profile with at least one job or education entry, Tnexy creates a public page for them by default. It shows their name, headline, city, skills, years of experience, work history, education and short intro. It never shows phone number, email address, salary or CV. It can be seen by anyone with the link, and signed-in job seekers can find it through search, but we ask search engines not to list it. You can switch your page to private at any time from your profile, and it will stop being visible straight away.
AI features and Google
When you use CV autofill, the AI career advisor or the mock interview, text from your CV or your messages, and a summary of your profile and assessment, are sent to Google’s Gemini AI service so it can reply. We do not send your phone number or email address to the advisor. These features only run after you tick the consent box.
We use Google’s free service. Under its terms, Google may use content sent to it to improve its products, so please do not type anything into the advisor or mock interview that you want to keep private. Advisor and interview conversations are shown on your screen and are not saved on our servers; they disappear when you leave the page or start a new conversation.
Services we rely on
- Supabase: database, login and private file storage.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Google Gemini: the AI features described above.
- Resend: sending account emails.
These providers process data for us and may store it on servers outside India.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, CV, assessment and applications. Employers may keep their own records of applications they have already received.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and replace your CV at any time.
- You can withdraw an application.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account.
- You can choose not to tick the AI consent box. You can still use the rest of the site.
To make a request or ask a question, email support@tnexy.com.
Children
Tnexy is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
